Cincinnati Bell Inc. said Thursday it has more than 25,000 subscribers for its Fioptics digital TV and broadband service in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
Bell is extending the fiber optic service to individual neighborhoods from installations at some of the region’s largest multi-family complexes. The service offers more than 325 TV channels and broadband speeds of up to 100 megabits per second.
The company launched Fioptics in 2009, and fiber optic services pass over 70,000 households. Cincinnati Bell said it plans to steadily expand Fioptics coverage as it completes network upgrades. Areas where Fioptics is available can be found at www.cincinnatibell.com/fioptics.
